My wife is in Baltimore

to teach a seminar this weekend. I hope it goes well, but of course I miss her, and now I have a special challenge of finding things in the kitchen. Usually I know where things (well, most things) are in the kitchen, but we recently had our kitchen "redone" and things aren't where they used to be. In fact, just about everything is moved around, including the sink, the stove, the dog bowls, the cat food and so on. I have almost figured out how to turn the lights on properly. I had to call her in Baltimore to ask where the cat food was. Now, given time, I surely would have found it, but I was starting to panic with those hungry kitties staring me in the face and meowing.

Silly poem of the day:

The cat's meow
Says "feed me, now!"
