Reading Contemporary Fiction

This was a talk by Shannon Ringvelski, which she gave at the Objectivist Center Summer Seminar. It was very interesting and insightful. I particularly enjoyed her characterization of NY Times book reviews, which seemed right on. I have also decided, based on her enthusiasm for the book, to read The Secret History sometime soon. I know we have a copy on hand, I just need to find it.

Here is a brief "official" summary of the talk.

Rhyme of the day:

I will crack this mystery:
Where IS The Secret History?

It's location is all too secret at the moment. But, you can always find a copy at Amazon. It's by Donna Tartt.
