Hotel California

I missed posting yesterday. I was sleeping in a hotel in West Hollywood. It was a nice hotel, but it had no broadband jacks in the room!

Today I'm in Templeton, California, visiting friends, and we got a nice tour of the Eberle winery, an up and coming operation, efficient and friendly.

On the plane trip from Midway to LAX I finished a novel I had been reading for a while: The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I also read, in its entirety, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-
Time by Mark Haddon. I thoroughly enjoyed them both, and will write about them soon, but right now it's almost time for dinner and also I am busy removing #$%^& viruses from this computer I am working on. 34 infected files have been detected by Norton so far.

Rhyme of the Day:

Thank Norton for automatic detection
of systematic infection!
