Graphic Blasphemy

Digital Blasphemy is a site I really like for pc wallpaper, much of which has a science-fictiony feel.  My son found it years ago.  Right now I've got this one.  He's got a substantial free gallery and a members gallery which is even bigger.

I'm not sure what's supposed to be blasphemous about it, but it sure is digital.

On a different graphical topic completely, this page offers a small glimpse of the legendary comic strip version of The Fountainhead.  I assume that's Howard Roark in 3/4 profile.  Perhaps plans are afoot to take the comic strip version and turn it into an animated feature film?  I'm starting that rumor, right here.  Bear in mind, it's completely arbitrary.

Rhyme of the Day:

It's very
Not to mention
Kind of scary.

More blasphemy (passed on by madbard)

Here's a comic-strip sequel to Atlas Shrugged, which was passed along to me from madbard .

Actually, if you look at it... it has a flaw.  The heroes don't have anyone who can make lunch.  But if you read the book closely, you would know that Hugh Akston, the town's eminent philosopher, is also a burger flipper extraordinaire.

As I indicated before, the groundless rumor is that The Fountainhead is being made into an animated film.  Not that Atlas is.  (It's my unfounded rumor, and I'm spreading it around like fertilizer.)

Speaking of humor that overlooks textual content, there is an old joke that goes:

Q: How many Objectivists does it take to screw in a light bulb?

A: Uh... did Miss Rand write anything about light bulbs?

Wait.  What kind of Objectivist would answer that way?  Miss Rand most definitely wrote about light bulbs!  She wrote an entire novel about a guy who is trying to get a light bulb to work.  And of course he succeeds.  A Randian hero doesn't just screw in light bulbs, he understand them rationally and reinvents them if necessary!
