24 season finale

I am an addict of the Kiefer Sutherland TV show, 24.

Warning, this contains some minor spoilers. Basically, it's about some plot lines from the beginning of the story that seemed to be completely dropped by the end.

The first is Jack B.'s heroin addiction. It was a major focus as the story unfolded at first. It seemed to be forgotten at the end. Now for someone like me, watching it across the months, it's easy to think he got over his addiction. But in the show's timeframe, only 24 hours have occurred. He should still be going through withdrawal.

Similarly, the season opened with the President having a love relationship with his doctor. By the end of the show, she too seems forgotten.

Ah, well.

I know that for the first season, at least, they didn't plot out the whole season in advance. They made it up as they went along. I suppose you need to tolerate some plot problems when you put shows together this way.

Rhyme of the day:

Despite some problems with this 24
I still want more.

Unlike Jack, I haven't kicked my addiction quite yet.
