View from the Bridge

is a play by Arthur Miller that I've discussed here before, based on a reading of the play. Tonight I saw a community theater production of the play. It was extremely well done. I'm still not crazy about the play, but the character portrayals were great.

I know the director a little. I'm curious about how he got such good performances, and such an integrated set of performances. Maybe I'll get to ask him, and maybe he'll be able to tell me.
