White Blanket

Yes, there is about an inch of white stuff on our lawn. Do you know what this means? It means I cannot spend Thanksgiving raking our leaves!

Perhaps, in my heart of hearts, I am thankful to the weather gods. But I think it's more virtuous-looking to act like I am exceedingly disappointed.

Rhyme of the Day:

Oh woe, the snow!
I cry and grieve,
I can't believe
I'm forced to leave
Abounding leaves
Upon the ground!

Okay. I will clean and put in storm windows, instead! I have children home who are complaining that their rooms are cold! Can't have the little darlings freezing!
